Our Story

Woven From Two Legacies

Zuriel Kingdom Collections was born in 2019 from a simple belief, that what we wear can carry meaning. We are a handmade, Black woman owned cultural brand based in the Lowcountry, creating one-of-a-kind wearable art that celebrates faith, heritage, and the beauty of being boldly yourself.

Every piece we make lives at the meeting place of two legacies. From West Africa, we draw the bold color and storytelling of Ankara tradition, where pattern has always carried memory. From Charleston, the heartland of Gullah Geechee culture, we draw a living connection to that same ancestry, rooted right here in the soil of the Holy City. That intersection is the heartbeat of everything we design.

We are a slow fashion brand on purpose. Our clothing, jewelry, headwraps, and accessories are cut and sewn by hand in small batches, made with intention rather than rushed for a trend. We choose craft over convenience and quality over quantity, so each piece can be worn, treasured, and passed down.

But Zuriel Kingdom Collections was never only about clothing. It is about community. Through workshops, sewing circles, and gatherings across the Lowcountry, we create spaces where women build, connect, and celebrate together. When you wear ZKC, you are not just a customer. You are part of the Tribe, and you belong here exactly as you are.

Fashion is Advocacy. Style is Identity.
