Products and Ordering
Are items ready to wear?
Many of our pieces are ready to ship. However, we are a slow fashion brand, and some items are made to order. If a piece requires production time, it will be noted on the product page.
Are your items really one of a kind?
Yes. Every piece is handmade in our Summerville studio. Because we work with limited Ankara fabrics and independent designer patterns, most pieces exist as a single original. When you wear ZKC, no one else has what you have.
Do you accept custom orders?
Custom orders are currently closed, with one exception: upcycled blazer commissions remain available on a limited basis. If you are interested in a blazer commission, email us with your measurements and vision and we will go from there.
What is the turnaround time for a made-to-order or commission piece?
Turnaround depends on a few factors: the number of pieces, the time needed for fabric selection, your measurement intake, and the detail of the work required. We will give you a timeline estimate when we confirm your order.
Do you make earrings or jewelry for special occasions like weddings, sorority events, or corporate branding?
Yes. We create custom jewelry for weddings, sorority functions, special parties, and branded events. Email us with your event details, timeline, and quantity, and we will put together a consultation.
Do you sell wholesale?
Yes. A consultation is required for all wholesale orders so we can discuss quantities, timelines, and pricing. Email us at info@zurielkingdomcollections.com to start the conversation.
Sizing and Fit
Do you have a size guide?
Yes. Visit our Size Guide for a full body measurement chart, how-to-measure instructions, and details on our upcycled blazer sizing. We use indie sewing patterns, so your body measurements are the truest guide to your fit.
What if I fall between sizes?
If you fall between sizes, or you have never quite fit a standard pattern, you are exactly who we design for. Send us your measurements and we will help you find the best fit or create a piece to your specifications.
Do you provide alteration services?
Yes. A consultation is required to make sure the work needed falls within a reasonable scope. Contact us with photos or details about the garment and what you need, and we will let you know if we can help.
Shipping and Pickup
How much does shipping cost?
Standard shipping is $10 (5 to 10 business days), Expedited is $25 (3 to 5 business days), and Express is $40 (2 to 3 business days). Orders over $75 ship free with standard shipping. Full details are on our Shipping Policy page.
How long does processing take before my order ships?
Please allow up to 3 business days for us to assemble, package, and ship your order. Processing time is separate from the shipping delivery estimate.
How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for tracking to update after you receive it. If you have questions, reach out to us or use the chat on the site.
Can I pick up my order locally?
Yes. Local pickup is available at no cost from our studio at the Public Works Art Center, Studio 3, 135 West Richardson Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483. Select Local Pickup at checkout, and we will email you when your order is ready. Pickups are available Wednesday to Saturday, 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Exchanges and Policies
Do you accept returns?
All sales are final. We do not accept returns or issue refunds. The only exceptions are exchanges that meet our policy conditions and items that arrive damaged or defective. Full details are on our Return and Exchange Policy page.
Can I exchange an item?
Yes. Email us at admin@zurielkingdomcollections.shop within 7 days of receiving your order with your order number. The item must be unused, in its original condition, and folded the same way you received it. Because our pieces are one of a kind, an exact replacement is not always available.
Are custom or commission items eligible for exchange?
No. All custom and commission pieces are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.
Workshops and Events
Do you host workshops or community events?
Yes. We host sewing workshops, community sip and stitch events, and other creative gatherings throughout the year. All upcoming events are listed on our Events page. Seats are limited, so register early.
Do I need sewing experience to attend a workshop?
Not at all. Our workshops welcome all skill levels, from first-timers to experienced sewists. Each event description includes what to expect and what to bring, so you will feel prepared before you walk in.
Partnerships
Do you do consignment partnerships?
Yes. If you own a boutique or retail space and are interested in carrying ZKC, email us to start the conversation.
Are influencer or friends and family discounts available?
We offer select partnerships from time to time. Free shipping does not apply to influencer or friends and family orders. Email us with your inquiry and we will discuss what we can do.
Care and General
How should I care for my Ankara pieces?
We recommend hand washing or using a gentle cycle with cold water and laying flat to dry. Ankara fabric holds its color and structure best when you avoid high heat. For blazers, spot clean or dry clean. Every piece ships with a care card, and specific instructions are included on the product page when applicable.
Are there ongoing promotions or discounts?
Yes. Subscribing to our email list is the best way to stay up to date on new drops, exclusive offers, and member-only promotions. You can sign up at the bottom of any page on our site.
